An established and expanding specialist insurer is looking to appoint an experienced Renewals PI Underwriting Manager to lead and strengthen its Professional Indemnity renewals function. Following a period of significant change and growth, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a key underwriting area and play an instrumental role in shaping the future direction of the business. This position would suit either an experienced team leader or a technically strong PI underwriter ready to step into a leadership role.
The Role
- Lead the Professional Indemnity renewals team
- Manage and retain a profitable PI portfolio across a broad range of sectors
- Drive underwriting quality, broker engagement, and retention strategy
- Work closely with senior leadership on portfolio performance and business planning
- Support and mentor underwriters across the renewals function
- Contribute to wider strategic growth initiatives across the business
Ideal Experience
- Strong Professional Indemnity underwriting experience
