We are partnering with a global insurance broker to recruit an experienced and ambitious Regional Sales Manager to lead a newly formed team of Account Executives focused on winning new business. These teams have seen great successes across the UK with the support and senior leadership the Broker can offer and now we're looking to replicate this in the North West, Yorkshire and North East Regions. This is a player/manager role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front while building and developing a high-performing sales team. You will play a key role in shaping the team's strategy, driving growth, and supporting Account Executives to develop their new business skills.
Role
- Lead and develop a newly created team of Account Executives with a strong focus on new business generation
- Operate in a player/manager capacity, actively winning new clients while mentoring and coaching the team
- Help recruit, grow, and shape the team as the business expands
- Provide hands-on sales leadership, guidance, and performance management
- Act as a role model for best-in-class new business development
About You
- Proven experience leading sales teams, within insurance broking
- Strong new business background with a track record of success
- Experience growing or scaling a team is highly desirable
- Alternatively, a high-performing Account Executive ready to step into their first management role
- Confident communicator with a coaching mindset and commercial drive
