  • Build and manage a proactive new‐business pipeline targeting commercial and residential real‐estate clients.
  • Meet prospects, conduct risk reviews and create tailored insurance programmes with support from internal specialists.
  • Convert opportunities through strong relationship building, technical insight and consultative selling.
  • Represent the business professionally, conveying its values of independence, clarity and genuine advice‐led service.
  • Maintain long‐term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders such as fund managers, landlords and developers.
  • Feed market intelligence into the business related to real‐estate trends, risk issues and insurer appetite.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure exceptional onboarding, servicing and claims support for new clients.
  • Work within FCA regulatory expectations and internal compliance processes.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in commercial insurance broking or account management, ideally with real‐estate exposure.
  • Strong new‐business development capabilities and a track record of generating leads and closing deals.
  • Understanding of commercial and residential property risk.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Energetic, proactive and self‐directed – comfortable working autonomously within a supportive boutique environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism, with a commitment to client care.
  • CII progress advantageous but not essential.
