Sales, it's not a dirty word, anymore. The days of cold calling through a list of names every day and getting nowhere are over, thankfully. Referrals, social campaigns, relationshipâled introductions and a stream of leads supplied to you are where it's at for the best Executives in broking. And that's exactly what's on the table here. You'll be joining this independently owned insurance brokerage to convert a packed diary of appointments for SME and midâmarket clients.
Benefiting from an internal newâbusiness team who put up to 10 preâqualified leads into your diary each week, your job as Development Executive is to meet them, provide clear advice and turn them from a lead to an established client. Behind you, you'll have a full UKâwide team of placing brokers, administration, claims and risk advisors who take on all the backâoffice stuff, allowing you to focus solely on advice.
To start off you'll have some allocated clients to give you a foundation, but most of your time is spent converting appointments, retaining the book and also using the business development team to explore any specialisms or niches you want to execute. You'll be working for a large broking house here so you'll have access to all the markets you'll ever need and receive ongoing support and mentoring from a Scottish leader who is one of the best Executives in the business.
If you want freedom, autonomy, quality client introductions and a platform for success, then this is it.
