The team is collaborative and covers a broad spread of Financial Lines classes.
This seat, however, is firmly focused on transactional risk: warranty & indemnity (W&I), tax liability and contingent risk claims across the EMEA region.This is a role for a lawyer who wants to stay close to deals long after they've signed
- it is not a litigation seat.
You will sit between policyholder and carrier, building the case for the claim and steering both sides towards an agreed resolution.
W&I notifications are becoming more frequent and insurers are assessing them more rigorously, so the ability to present a claim clearly, credibly and persuasively has a direct commercial impact on clients.You will manage a varied caseload and take ownership of each notification from first notice of loss through to settlement.
That includes shaping the notification and coordinating the evidence behind it.
You will work with insurance markets, clients, placement teams, specialist and network colleagues across the region, underwriters, and external counsel.
