About the Opportunity

An established and rapidly growing UK wealth management firm is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to support a highly successful Financial Adviser managing a substantial portfolio of high-net-worth clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, professional team where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service while gaining exposure to complex financial planning cases involving investments, pensions, estate planning and business interests.

You'll be supporting an Adviser responsible for approximately £130m of assets under management across around 140 client households, with client relationships spanning from affluent individuals to ultra-high-net-worth families.

The Role

As a Financial Planning Administrator, you'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, providers and colleagues, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the financial planning journey.

Key responsibilities include

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering an outstanding level of service
  • Managing client enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Preparing and processing documentation across a range of financial planning products
  • Liaising with providers to ensure cases progress efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting Advisers with client reviews, ongoing servicing and new business processing
  • Monitoring and progressing cases through to completion
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and compliantly, with excellent attention to detail
  • Prioritising workloads effectively within a busy environment
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with excellent client relationship skills. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth clients
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Confidence communicating directly with clients and external providers
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset and strong work ethic

Due to the nature of this role, experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is essential.
