This is an opportunity to be part of a high‑performing litigation team, combining technical legal work with people leadership, strategic input and career development responsibilities. Working across a broad range of personal injury, motor, EL/PL and related claims, you'll be entrusted with managing complex and high-value matters while leading a team of solicitors to deliver exceptional results for clients. What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of solicitors
- Managing a caseload of complex and litigated claims
- Providing technical guidance on liability, causation and quantum issues
- Conducting hearings and overseeing cases through the Scottish courts
- Reviewing and approving legal documentation and pleadings
- Driving quality standards, compliance and best practice across the team
- Building strong relationships with clients, insurers, experts and stakeholders
- Supporting business growth initiatives and operational improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Scottish qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE
- Strong background in civil litigation, personal injury, insurance litigation or motor claims
- Experience appearing in the Sheriff Court and a sound understanding of Scottish court procedures
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills
- A natural leader with experience supervising, coaching or mentoring others
- Commercial awareness and a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients and the business
