I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a highly regarded international law firm, based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for a Real Estate paralegal with a background in acquisitions to step into a role supporting major energy and utilities clients on English law transactions – think sub‑station and radio site acquisitions, leases, wayleaves, easements, and variations. If you enjoy a fast‑paced caseload and want genuine client exposure, this one’s worth a look.
What you'll be doing:
- Running your own caseload of transactions, liaising directly with clients to take instructions
- Drafting acquisition documentation and negotiating directly with counterparties
- Carrying out title reviews
- Handling file opening, including first drafts of retainer letters and AML compliance
- Working across data rooms and online trackers
- Managing completions and post‑completion work – registrations, filings, and reporting
What they're looking for:
You’ll be an enthusiastic, detail‑focused Real Estate Paralegal who is used to juggling a busy workload and using your own initiative.
What's on offer:
- Competitive salary, reviewed annually
- Hybrid, flexible working
- Generous bonus scheme
- Up to 25 days’ holiday (rising to 28)
- Holiday exchange scheme
- Private medical insurance
- Enhanced parental leave
- A genuinely inclusive employer, with reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act 2010
