What You'll Be Doing:
- Step into a role that gives you genuine responsibility and the chance to make your mark.
- Build strong client relationships and be their trusted advisor.
- Manage your own caseload with support on hand when you need it.
- Prepare pleadings, submissions and confidently represent clients in court, tribunals and mediations.
- Develop negotiation strategies and deliver great outcomes for clients.
- Get involved in business development and help raise the profile of the team and firm.
- Work collaboratively with the firm's other divisions.
- Mentor and support junior team members and trainees.
What You'll Bring:
- You're a problem-solver, a clear communicator and someone who enjoys getting to grips with complex issues.
- Have a minimum of 2 years PQE in litigation (flexible for the right person).
- Experience in one or more of: Insolvency, Commercial or Residential Landlord & Tenant, Debt Recovery, Commercial Disputes, Contentious Executries, Employment Litigation.
- Confidence working with a variety of commercial and civil clients.
- Strong knowledge of Sheriff Court and Court of Session experiences.
- Advocacy experience - proofs, debates, motions, contentious hearings, mediations.
- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, practical advice.
- A proactive mindset and enjoyment of both independent work and team collaboration.
