You've handled commercial combined/package claims but have a real interest in all things marine. Handling claims for boatyards, boat dealers and even restaurants on marinas would be really interesting to you. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Marine or Commercial Combined Claims Handler to become a leading expert in a hugely interesting and diverse part of the market, handling claims for businesses who operate on or near water.

You will be joining a friendly, close‑knit team that values traditional ways of operating and interacting with clients. This Broker's/MGA's specialist marine team has secured delegated authority with an influx of new claims, meaning they are ready to offer this role to an individual who would like to lead it.

As an integral part of the business, you will have the opportunity to lead the smooth running of all daily affairs relating to claims processing for the marine trade team, handling an array of claims—including those that are more complex—particularly those in line with the current claims‑settling authority within your new company's binding authority agreements. This opportunity has the potential to progress into a leadership role over time as the business grows and develops.

We are looking for individuals with a strong claims handling/processing background, either with prior experience handling marine trades, commercial package/combined, or property and liability claims.

Benefits:

  • You will be offered a salary up to £45,000 plus pension.
  • Hybrid working arrangements.
  • Option to buy or sell an additional three days of holiday from the existing 25 days.
  • An employee assistance programme is also available.
  • For candidates who meet all criteria, we may consider full remote working.
