Account Executive (Corporate Insurance) Glasgow/Edinburgh
To £60, base plus car allowance and bonus.
- No targets for new business.
- No pressure to find new clients.
- Exclusively working with corporate level clients.
This insurance brokerage has one of the very best support teams in the market, meaning here, you are focusing on quality service to existing clients. Here you will be allocated an existing portfolio of larger size cases, usually in the £15,000 - £40,000 income bracket. A total book of around £200,000 income.
Your book will have around 10-15 clients, all mixed across a range of sectors but crucially, these guys can tailor the composition of the clientele to match any areas of interest or specialism you may have.
You will be working out of the main Glasgow hub, tasked with taking ownership of these clients under the guidance and mentorship of the leadership team. Once up and running, you will be supported by a brilliant technical team for all your broking work, leaving you to really focus on the client management side.
And you won’t be working to any strict new business targets here. Any growth of your book will come naturally through leads generated via a central team plus from the suite of additional services this large business offers.
If you enjoy handling larger clientele but prefer to work much more in a servicing role rather than out at the sharp end hammering the new business, then you will be well suited here.
You will need a background in a client facing capacity within commercial or corporate broking for this one.
Oh, and don’t worry if your CV needs a bit of TLC, I can help you with that.
