My client is based in the centre of Manchester and they are currently recruiting for a Client Portfolio Manager to join their investment team.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a point of contact
- Communicating professionally, courteously, and effectively with clients by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face
- Assisting with long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients
- Identifying business development opportunities within the existing client base
- Working alongside Senior Client Manager following meetings to discuss the client's circumstances and be involved in creating and implementing a financial strategy to meet the client's financial objectives and circumstances
- Maintaining ongoing relationships with the clients, keeping them informed, answering queries, and arranging review meetings
- Identifying client needs at a review and undertaking preparation, collaborating with other colleagues and teams where appropriate
- Articulating our services to clients and identifying business opportunities based on their needs
- Understanding the needs of our clients and being able to respond effectively with appropriate service suggestions
- Ensuring all clients are contacted on a regular basis
- Ensuring client-facing documents are accurate and appropriate for the client
What's needed:
- Solid investment industry experience
- Good client service skills
- Investment Advice Diploma is essential (or close to completion)
