Overview
In this role, you will manage and grow a client portfolio within a specialist Charity & Not-for-Profit team, delivering tailored insurance solutions and high-quality service. You’ll steer renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client engagements, coordinating with insurers and internal teams. You’ll build senior-level relationships with decision makers and represent the business at partner meetings and events. This role offers ownership of your portfolio, with clear targets and hybrid working in Cheltenham.

Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients
- Lead renewal activity and manage mid-term adjustments
- Build relationships with key decision makers and partners
- Work with external service providers and internal stakeholders
- Understand client requirements and identify appropriate insurance solutions
- Meet or exceed annual targets
- Attend quarterly MI meetings with partners
- Engage regularly with clients, partners and internal teams
- Travel to partner meetings and client promotional events
Key requirements
- Experience in the insurance market with a solid understanding of general insurance
- Experience providing specialist advice to clients
- Commercially minded with strong client-facing relationship abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different clients and stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, diary management, and ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
