Glass ceiling and red tape holding your career ambitions of leadership back? This could be the hammer that shatters that glass and opens up your next phase to directorship within a quality mid-corp broker. We have partnered with a large mid corporate broker who are looking for someone to build, hire and lead a new team of Development Executives in the Southwest Region, most likely working out of their Bristol office.
The Regional Director will be responsible for building and leading a newly formed team of Development Executives, setting clear sales strategy, performance expectations, and growth targets. You will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, developing strong insurer and client relationships, and embedding a high-performance, commercially driven culture. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the region aligns with wider business objectives while retaining a strong local focus.
This role is suited to a proven commercial insurance leader with significant experience in business development, regional or senior leadership, and building teams from the ground up. You will bring strong market knowledge of the Southwest, a track record of driving profitable growth, and the credibility to lead, inspire, and influence both internally and externally.
In return, the role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role within a market-leading broker, with strong autonomy, competitive remuneration, and long-term career progression within a highly respected organisation.
