A highly respected Chartered Insurance Broker in Bristol is looking to appoint a Claims Handler to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around two years' insurance experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within claims.

The business is open to considering candidates from a broker or insurer background, as well as individuals currently working within broking who are keen to transition into claims. Applications from Loss Adjusters looking to move into a claims handling role will also be considered.

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of non-motor claims from cradle to grave, including Property, Liability, Transit, Household, Theft, Travel, Employers Liability and Public Liability claims. While the majority of claims are typically lower value, averaging around £2,000, the team also handles significant and complex losses, including claims exceeding £11 million.

You will be assigned a dedicated Claims Manager and work closely with senior members of the team who provide ongoing support, guidance and technical development. It's an excellent environment for someone looking to further their technical knowledge and progress professionally.

The salary on offer is between £30,000 and £40,000 depending on experience, alongside an annual team bonus. The business prefers employees to be office-based to support collaboration and development, although hybrid working of three days in the office and two from home may be considered for more experienced individuals. On-site parking is also available.
