My client is currently looking for a proactive, detail-driven Paraplanner to join their team in Blackburn. Whether you're early in your paraplanning journey or bring years of experience, this is your chance to make a real impact supporting Advisers and clients. The company offers hybrid working and full exam support.
As a Paraplanner you'll be at the heart of our client service delivery. You'll work closely with our Advisers to help business owners, professionals and retirees navigate their financial futures.
The Role- To work as part of the wealth management team providing an excellent service to their clients.
- Support our Advisers in helping clients, many of whom are business owners, professionals and retired people, in all aspects of wealth management - planning, tax mitigation, investment strategy and asset protection.
- Specific functions include researching products, funds and solutions, preparing reports for client meetings, highlighting areas requiring attention, processing new business, and preparing suitability reports.
- Assist the Compliance Officer in maintaining appropriate systems and controls, including compliance projects and presale file checking.
- Play an active part in business development initiatives, looking for ways to improve paraplanning and department efficiencies.
- Keen to play an active role in a dynamic team and willing to contribute to the success of the team and the firm as a whole.
- Passionate about providing great client service.
- Great at communicating with people at all levels - face to face and in writing.
- Positive and good at using your initiative.
- Organised and good at working under pressure.
- Motivated and well organised.
- Level 4 qualified (or close to completion).
