We're working with a well-established insurance broker based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint an Insurer Relationship & Partnership Manager to strengthen and develop their insurer relationships. This role is pivotal to the business – focused on building strategic partnerships with insurers, improving trading terms, and supporting the broking teams to drive profitable growth.
The Role
- Managing and developing key insurer relationships across the commercial market
- Acting as the main point of contact between insurers and internal broking teams
- Negotiating and reviewing trading terms, schemes and delegated authority opportunities
- Supporting Account Executives and New Business teams with insurer engagement and placement strategy
- Identifying new insurer partners and opportunities aligned to the broker's growth plans
- Monitoring performance, appetite and market changes to maximise placement success
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience within commercial insurance, either broker-side or insurer-side
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior insurer relationships
- Good understanding of underwriting appetite, market dynamics and placement strategy
- Confident communicator able to influence internally and externally
