We're partnering with a well‑established independent insurance broker in Birmingham to recruit a Commercial New Business Account Executive. This role is ideal for a driven, sales‑focused insurance professional who wants to grow a significant commercial book, while benefiting from an initial inherited portfolio of around £50k income to get them up and running.
The Role
- Developing new commercial insurance business across SME and/or mid‑market clients
- Inheriting and servicing an initial £50k book of business to provide immediate income and client exposure
- Building long‑term client relationships with a view to retention and portfolio growth
- Generating new opportunities through networking, referrals and proactive prospecting
- Working closely with Account Handlers and insurer partners to deliver tailored solutions
