Job Description
Larger corporate clients. More complex risks. More technical exposure. And the opportunity to develop your broking career within a successful independent broker.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler who is ready for more.
Alongside a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience, you'll have the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week, support towards professional qualifications, generous holiday allowance, enhanced pension contributions, life assurance, 24/7 GP access and a range of additional employee benefits.
More importantly, the role itself gives you somewhere to go.
You'll be joining an established Corporate team within a long-standing independent insurance broker, working with a varied portfolio of mid-market and corporate clients and getting properly involved in the broking process.
Rather than simply processing renewals, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your clients, prepare detailed market presentations, negotiate directly with insurers and build your own relationships across the market.
You'll work across a broad range of commercial covers:
- Commercial Combined
- Property
- Fleet
- Cyber
- D&O
- Employers' & Public Liability
- Sports/Leisure
- Real Estate
The business has been established for decades and offers an attractive middle ground for someone who wants the clients, insurer relationships and market access of a significant broker, but within an independent environment where you can have greater visibility and autonomy.
They're looking for someone with 3+ years' commercial insurance broking experience. You may already be handling corporate clients, or you could be working with SME or mid-market business and be ready to take the next step.
CII qualifications are welcomed but aren't essential, and you'll be supported if you want to continue your professional development.
