A leading global law firm is seeking a mid-level Restructuring & Insolvency Associate to join its dynamic London team. This role offers exposure to complex, cross-border matters and the opportunity to work alongside highly regarded practitioners in the field.
The Role: You will advise financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, private credit funds, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
- Cross-border restructurings and strategic refinancing solutions
- Creditor and debtor representations
- Out-of-court restructurings
- Insolvency litigation
You will work on high-profile matters such as complex insolvencies, strategic asset sales, and contentious disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience & Skills:
- 3–6 years PQE in restructuring, insolvency, or related finance litigation
- Strong technical knowledge of insolvency law and cross-border restructuring frameworks
- Experience advising financial institutions, corporate clients, or insolvency practitioners
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills
Representative Matters Include:
- Acting for administrators in high-profile cross-border insolvencies
- Advising on trading administrations of large corporate fleets and complex operational restructurings
- Assisting with asset sales in insolvency, including scientific and pharma-related assets
