Some of the world's most complex construction and engineering projects don't insure themselves. Power generation. Offshore wind. Heavy industry. Renewables. These are the risks that keep most underwriters up at night — and this team treats them as business as usual.

This is a boutique reinsurance broker. Small enough to give clients direct access to the people who actually know the risk. Technical enough to structure and place facultative arrangements that most of the market wouldn't touch. The team sits right at the intersection of deep technical expertise and genuine client partnership.

Internal succession planning has created a rare opening. You'll be working at the senior end of the desk — structuring and placing large-scale construction and engineering fac programmes across the global reinsurance market.

What you'll need:

  • You'll have built your career in construction and engineering reinsurance.
  • Faculty placement is your core skill.
  • You know the market, you know the technical requirements of these risks, and you have the relationships to back it up.
  • This isn't a generalist role. Construction and engineering reinsurance expertise is non-negotiable.

What's on offer:

  • You'll join a highly skilled team in a role with a clear route to senior leadership.
  • The work is genuinely interesting, the clients value technical depth over volume, and the culture is built around quality of work rather than hierarchy.

Salary £150,000 – £200,000 depending on experience, plus full package.
