An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven UK-qualified Shipping Litigation Associate (2–4 PQE) to join one of London’s most respected boutique marine law firms. This is your chance to work with a firm renowned for its deep sector expertise, high-profile client base, and hands-on partner mentorship—all within a tight-knit and collaborative team environment.

About the Role:

  • You’ll be advising a global roster of clients, including P&I Clubs, shipowners, charterers, insurers, and energy companies, on a wide range of dry shipping disputes, including:
  • Charterparty and bill of lading claims
  • Cargo damage and contamination issues
  • MOA and shipbuilding disputes
  • LMAA arbitration and Commercial Court litigation
  • Urgent injunctions and enforcement matters

You’ll have immediate exposure to complex matters, work directly with partners, and enjoy the opportunity to develop your own client relationships early in your career.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4 years PQE, UK-qualified solicitor
  • Strong experience in dry shipping litigation and arbitration
  • Solid background in LMAA proceedings and/or High Court work
  • Commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Desire to grow within a specialist team and build long-term client relationships
