An established and well-regarded regional insurance brokerage is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Broker to support its growing portfolio of corporate and mid-market clients across Scotland. This is a technically focused broking role, suited to a strong all-rounder who enjoys being close to the detail.
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end placement design, renewal management, and day-to-day servicing of complex commercial risks. The role also includes handling referred cases, providing technical input to colleagues, and attending client meetings and insurer visits as required. The client base spans a broad range of commercial risks, so cross-class commercial broking experience is essential.
You’ll be comfortable negotiating with insurers, structuring programmes, and delivering a high standard of technical and client service throughout the policy lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications- Proven experience in commercial insurance broking
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple commercial classes
- Solid experience of Acturis (essential)
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and insurers
- Organised, detail-driven, and commercially minded
