The Opportunity

A well-established and growing financial planning business is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its expanding team on a fully remote basis. The business has a significant national adviser network, with over 200 Financial Advisers supported by an established Paraplanning team of 33 professionals. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and well-resourced environment, working alongside experienced Advisers and Paraplanners while benefiting from the flexibility of fully remote working.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will provide high-quality technical and financial planning support to Financial Advisers and their clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing suitability reports and client recommendations

  • Conducting research and analysis across pensions, investments and protection

  • Supporting Advisers with the preparation and implementation of financial planning recommendations

  • Preparing accurate and compliant client documentation

  • Liaising with providers and third parties where required

  • Managing a varied workload and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Working closely with Advisers and the wider Paraplanning team

  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance and client service

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)

  • Experience working as a Paraplanner

  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and other areas of financial planning

  • Experience producing suitability reports and supporting financial planning recommendations

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of complianceThe ability to manage your own workload effectively in a remote environment

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive and collaborative approach
