We are representing a fiercely independent, people-first insurance brokerage entering an exceptionally ambitious phase of growth. Alongside strengthening its core brokerage offering, the business is expanding into complementary insurance and advisory areas, creating broader opportunities for entrepreneurial leaders. This role offers a genuine alternative to traditional corporate structures. Rather than operating as one of many within a large hierarchy, the successful candidate will play a defining role in shaping the future direction of a growing, diversified organisation.
The Opportunity
As Regional Leader, you will have the autonomy, backing, and infrastructure to build and grow your own business within the wider firm. The organisation empowers experienced professionals, places trust in their judgment, and provides support without unnecessary interference.
- Leading from the front as a player-manager, developing and maintaining your own portfolio of clients.
- Building and leading a high-performing regional team, including the recruitment, development, and mentoring of producers, with full ownership of your regional P&L.
- Driving growth across both established brokerage services and emerging service lines, aligned with the firm's broader expansion strategy.
- Contributing to national strategy alongside a leadership team that values commercial insight and entrepreneurial thinking.
The Ideal Candidate
This position is suited to confident, self-sufficient leaders who are comfortable operating on the front line and taking full ownership of outcomes. You will:
- Have a clear vision for growth and the ability to execute it.
- Place a high value on culture, integrity, and long-term commitment over titles or short-term incentives.
- Understand the accountability that comes with autonomy in an independent brokerage environment.
- Demonstrate strong character and cultural alignment; professionalism, respect, and collaboration are essential.
What Our Client Offers
This is a rare opportunity to join a scaling, ambitious independent brokerage with meaningful scope to shape direction and build something lasting. In return, you can expect:
- True Autonomy: A high-trust environment with no micromanagement.
- Direct Impact: Clear visibility of your contribution to performance, strategy, and growth.
- A Long-Term Journey: The opportunity to build a platform and legacy.
If you are open to a transparent, senior-level conversation about what you can build and are motivated by a culture that prioritises people, ownership, and growth, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you. We can facilitate an introduction to the leadership team for a candid discussion to assess mutual fit.
Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Mission: At IDEX, we strive for an inclusion-first company culture where everyone is treated fairly and can bring their authentic selves to work. We recognise and acknowledge that diverse representation at every level of our business requires continuous and measurable effort. We are committed to driving conscious inclusion across our business and creating equitable pathways.
