I’m working with a well established independent financial planning firm based on the outskirts of Redditch who are looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. Operating for over 15 years, this firm prides itself on delivering truly independent advice and building long term client relationships. You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative environment where quality of advice and client service genuinely come first.
The Role
Reporting to the Paraplanning Team Supervisor, you will provide high level technical support to advisers and play a key role in delivering compliant, client focused advice. Key responsibilities include:
- Writing multi pension and investment suitability reports
- Preparing protection, tax planning and annual review reports
- Identifying and resolving outstanding KYC requirements
- Preparing documentation ready for client sign off
- Liaising with product providers and third parties
- Assisting with tax calculations where required
- Maintaining 35 hours annual CPD
- Supporting the wider team when needed
About You
- Experience within financial services is essential
- Strong suitability report writing experience
- Working towards or holding Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- High attention to detail and strong written skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- A proactive, team focused mindset
