An opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Associate to join a highly ranked Projects practice in London. This is a rare chance to work on headline‑making transactions across the UK and internationally, with a focus on oil & gas, LNG, and emerging energy transition technologies.
The Role
You’ll advise major energy companies, trading houses, financiers, governments, and new market entrants on strategic, high‑value transactions. The work is broad and diverse, spanning:
- M&A, project development, and financing in the oil & gas sector
- LNG, refining, and mid/downstream matters
- Energy transition projects (hydrogen, carbon capture, sustainable aviation fuel)
- Cross‑border work, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia
This role is suited to a lawyer with strong transactional experience, a sharp commercial mindset, and the confidence to take on new contractual challenges. You’ll be client‑facing from day one, with the opportunity to develop your own client base and a clear pathway to Counsel or Partner.

About You
- 4+ PQE with a strong track record in transactional/project work
