A highly progressive and entrepreneurial planning practice is seeking a senior Planning Partner (or an experienced planning lawyer ready for immediate partnership progression) to join at a pivotal stage of growth. This opportunity is aimed at an established practitioner, looking to step into a platform that offers autonomy, influence, and genuine strategic input at partner level.
The successful candidate will work alongside a highly respected Planning Partner with extensive experience across major UK development and infrastructure mandates, and a strong track record in complex, high-value advisory work.
The role:
- Lead and develop a high-quality planning practice within a collaborative partnership structure
- Play a key role in shaping strategy, client development, and long-term growth
- Advise on a broad range of major infrastructure, commercial, residential, and development schemes
- Handle both contentious and non-contentious planning matters, including DCOs, compulsory purchase, highways, and environmental issues
The ideal candidate:
- Established Planning Partner or senior lawyer at Legal Director level seeking immediate partner progression
- Significant experience advising on large-scale development and infrastructure projects
- Strong track record of client origination and relationship management
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and influence within a growing platform
