The Role
Our client is looking for a talented Paraplanner to join their team and provide excellent technical support to their Advisers. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality research, accurate financial planning reports, and comprehensive cashflow modelling that helps their clients achieve clarity and confidence in their financial future.

Key Responsibilities
Report Writing
- Produce clear, technically accurate, compliant and concise suitability and financial planning reports
- Prepare detailed and accurate lifetime cashflows with multiple scenarios
- Undertake research, both independently and alongside Advisers, to identify suitable client solutions
- Ensure all files are complete, accurate and compliant, taking ownership of chasing any missing information
- Prepare and coordinate review documentation, including financial planning presentations, cashflows and asset reviews
- Complete post-meeting presentations
Assisting and Discussing
- Liaise with Advisers on fees relative to the volume and complexity of work
- Carry out financial planning calculations, including tax considerations
- Liaise with the administration team to process recommendations
- Balance a commercial mindset with maintaining high-quality service
Client Relationship
- Communicate complex issues to clients clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Where required, engage with clients directly by phone, email or face to face
- Attend client meetings when needed and prepare meeting notes/presentations within agreed timescales
Ongoing Development
- Take responsibility for your own continued professional development
- Build knowledge of key financial planning areas including Inheritance Tax Planning, Retirement Planning, Retirement Options and Business Planning
Compliance
- Follow all compliance processes and procedures, including T&C, financial crime, anti-money laundering, data protection, conflicts of interest, record keeping and Consumer Duty
- Complete regular internal compliance knowledge and technical assessments

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong mathematical, analytical and communication skills
- Proven experience within Financial Services
- Confidential, reliable and trustworthy approach
- Excellent attention to detail and a high-quality, self-motivated approach to work
- Ability to work within defined processes while adapting to client needs
- Strong ownership, organisational and time-management skills
- Level 4 relevant industry qualification held (essential)
- Good understanding of the financial advice process
- Commitment to annual CPD in line with company and CII requirements
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
