Our client, a well-established and growing wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join their advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality financial planning advice. The successful candidate will inherit a substantial existing client bank, allowing them to focus on providing exceptional service, developing client relationships and identifying opportunities for future growth.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, the successful Adviser will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of clients and delivering holistic financial planning solutions tailored to individual needs and objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing an existing client bank
- Conducting regular client reviews and maintaining strong client relationships
- Providing advice across investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and wider financial planning matters
- Completing fact-finds, risk profiling and suitability assessments
- Presenting clear, compliant and client-focused recommendations
- Identifying opportunities to grow revenue through existing clients, referrals and professional introducer relationships
- Working closely with paraplanning, administration, compliance and operations teams to ensure an outstanding client experience
About You
Our client is keen to speak with Advisers who possess:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum
- A proven track record of managing and developing a client bank
- Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, protection and financial planning
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- A strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience using CRM and adviser support platforms
- Chartered status, or progress towards Chartered Financial Planner, would be advantageous but is not essential.
