London/ South West/ Midlands/ North (hybrid, flexible working). Due to growth, a well established national Healthcare insurance broking team is looking to attract an experienced Med Mal professional in a leadership role. This role will ideally be based in London, though the individual can be located anywhere in the country, providing regular travel to London is accessible.

The Role

This role provides a genuine opportunity to help develop a small team of Healthcare Brokers, lead by example in terms of client development and really make an impact in the market. As a senior member of the team, managing complex renewals and driving new business will be a key part of the role (mainly retail but also some wholesale), alongside enhancing market relationships and acting as a brand ambassador.

The Person

Medical Malpractice technical knowledge is key for this role, along with relationships with Med Mal Underwriters, a track record in business development, exposure to mid-market risks and the desire to share this knowledge/ expertise with team members. Experience across both retail and wholesale business is an advantage as well as team management skills.
