We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Broker - Property & Casualty to play a key role in the growth and servicing of the P&C class of business within a respected and long-established London Market broker. With over 50 years of history in the heart of the City, this firm has built an enviable reputation for delivering innovative solutions through strong insurer relationships and exceptional service to its broker partners. This is a senior opportunity that blends technical expertise, market presence, and commercial focus, offering the chance to make a significant impact within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a profitable P&C book across both UK and European operations
- Support delivery of business targets and budgets for the P&C portfolio
- Present risks to market and negotiate terms, both face-to-face and electronically
- Provide market access solutions and placement support to colleagues across the group
- Act as a key point of contact for P&C-related activity, providing technical and market expertise
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a panel of trusted broker partners and underwriters
- Generate and convert new business opportunities through proactive engagement and referrals
- Handle end-to-end broking of new and renewal cases, including negotiation, placement, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Support and mentor junior brokers where required, sharing knowledge and best practice
- Collaborate closely with finance, claims, and credit control teams to ensure seamless client service
- Maintain accurate reporting and MI through system updates and logs

- Proven ability to develop and manage books of business
