A leading international law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its growing London-based Sanctions Practice.

🔹 Key Areas of Work
• Advising on UK, EU, US (OFAC) and UN sanctions regimes
• Financial sanctions compliance, risk assessments, licensing and transactional analysis
• Marine and shipping sanctions matters involving shipowners, charterers, insurers and commodities traders
• International trade, energy and commodities-related sanctions issues
• Internal investigations, enforcement matters and regulatory engagement
• Drafting sanctions-related contractual protections and compliance frameworks
• Supporting disputes and investigations with sanctions-related elements
• Advising clients on evolving geopolitical and regulatory developments
🎯 Candidate Requirements
• 6+ years' PQE gained at a leading international or specialist law firm
• Strong experience advising on UK, EU and US sanctions regimes
• Demonstrable expertise in financial sanctions advisory work
• Experience in marine, shipping, trade or commodities sanctions is highly desirable
• Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills
• Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
• Strong academic credentials and communication skills
