Interim Compliance Manager - Immediate Start in London

Interim Compliance Manager | London Market Insurance & Reinsurance | London IDEX Consulting are exclusively recruiting for an Interim Compliance Manager with a specialist insurance business in the London market. This is an immediate-start interim opportunity, initially for up to 6 months, supporting the business while they recruit and onboard a permanent compliance solution. There is potential for the assignment to be extended, but equally it may conclude once the permanent hire is established. It’s a great opportunity for someone with London market insurance or reinsurance experience who can hit the ground running, take ownership of a broad compliance remit and provide continuity and leadership during a period of transition. They’re looking for someone who is comfortable operating hands-on and taking responsibility for the day-to-day compliance agenda. Owning the compliance policies and procedures framework and annual Compliance Monitoring Plan Managing FCA regulatory reporting end-to-end, including internal review and approval Managing the relationship with the outsourced compliance provider Coordinating internal audits and external control testing Delivering compliance training, Board reporting and issue management Providing continuity and hands-on compliance leadership while the permanent solution is recruited and onboarded Compliance experience within an insurer, reinsurer or London market business Strong, hands-on FCA regulatory reporting experience Someone comfortable getting into the detail and managing the day-to-day compliance agenda Able to operate independently and make an immediate impact in an interim environment SOX control testing, GDPR/privacy exposure and OneTrust (or similar). The key detail: this is an immediate-start interim role, initially expected to run for around 6 months while the business recruits and embeds a permanent compliance solution.
