Leading specialist workplace law firm | Employee-owned | High-growth practice
An award-winning, specialist workplace law firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Associate (4+ PQE) to join its growing corporate practice in London. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly ranked firm that has expanded beyond traditional employment advice to provide a full suite of corporate and commercial services to UK and international clients. The firm operates under an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) model, meaning all employees share directly in the firm’s success.
The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with the Partner and Head of Corporate, supported by a collaborative and collegiate wider team. The role offers genuine autonomy, early client exposure, and the chance to play a key role in shaping a growing corporate practice. The work is varied and high-quality, including:
- Day-to-day corporate and commercial advisory work
- Drafting and advising on:
- Articles of association
- Shareholders’ and investment agreements
- Partnership and LLP agreements
- Share option schemes (including EMI)
- Client terms & conditions and general company law matters
You will be client-facing, managing your own caseload and developing trusted client relationships, with appropriate partner support and supervision.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Strong technical drafting and advisory skills
- Confident dealing directly with clients
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
- Commercial mindset with a client-centric approach
This role will particularly suit a lawyer who enjoys responsibility, visibility, and being closely involved in the growth of a practice rather than operating in rigid partner silos.
Why Join?
- Employee-owned firm with tax-free annual bonuses (subject to HMRC limits)
- Highly ranked in Chambers & Legal 500
- Strong UK and international client base
- Supportive, inclusive and forward-thinking culture
- Hybrid working (typically 3 days office / 2 days home)
- Real opportunity to influence and grow a corporate team
