Role purpose
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for facilitating high quality interactions with engaged, potential clients. The role holder will manage a team (initially one person) responsible for validating/allocating leads received via digital and partner channels. You will personally deliver client-facing financial planning content via webinars and presentations, and provide subject matter expertise to support the development of marketing content. A level-4 qualified relationship expert, you will be familiar with target-driven environments and presenting to audiences, possess commercial acumen and organisational skills. You will be able to take a collaborative approach in working alongside Central Team, our mortgage centre of excellence, regional businesses and third-party agencies, to drive results.
Key accountabilities
- Management of lead validation processes
- To lead and inspire a small team, responsible for the follow-up of leads generated via telephone and email channels, to deliver a strong brand experience and validate commercial fit, need and immediacy of advice need.
- Responsible for timely and effective lead processes between the centre and regional hubs.
- Manage the lead referral relationships and process with our mortgage business, to ensure efficient management of leads and a joined-up client experience.
- Support the team to achieve pre-determined KPIs for leads validated.
- Presentations to prospective clients
- Help to develop, facilitate and carry out client-facing presentations (eg Webinars and Seminars) across a range of topics, and present that content to online and in-person audiences as required.
- Establish yourself as a visible and credible representative of the business to would-be clients, partners and affiliates.
- Supporting content creation
- Work with the marketing team to produce content to support our brand aspirations.
- Be a subject matter expert in the development of adviser guides and adviser focused campaigns and materials.
Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies
Must Have
- Level 4 financial planning qualifications.
- 2-3 years’ experience in the financial planning sector.
- Excellent customer service and rapport-building skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify revenue opportunities.
- Experience using CRMs or digital lead management tools.
- A collaborative, results orientated approach.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to prioritise workloads/activity.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to present to large audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering presentations to audiences via digital and in-person platforms.
- Line Management experience.
