An award-winning, fast-growing UK law firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Litigation Partner to join its expanding disputes practice. This is a standout opportunity for an entrepreneurial lawyer who wants to shape and grow a practice with genuine autonomy without the structural constraints often found in larger, more rigid firms. You will play a key role in building a high-performing team, driving strategy, and contributing to the firm’s continued national growth.
The firm combines top-tier work quality with a progressive, collaborative culture, making it an ideal platform for partners looking to accelerate their practice and influence.
The Role
- Develop and grow a broad litigation practice, with flexibility to develop your own specialism or sector focus
- Handle a wide range of complex disputes, which may include:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Banking and financial litigation
- Civil fraud and asset recovery
- Contentious insolvency
The Candidate
- An established Litigation Partner (or a Senior Associate/Legal Director ready for partnership)
- Entrepreneurial, with a demonstrable track record of business development and client origination
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into sustainable revenue
- Motivated to build and lead a practice, rather than simply maintain an existing caseload
- A strong communicator and collaborator, capable of contributing to a high-performance, team-oriented culture
- A portable client following is advantageous but not essential—what matters most is your drive, credibility, and ability to grow a practice.
Why Join?
- Freedom to grow – develop your practice without the bureaucracy and internal competition typical of larger firms
- Ambitious growth strategy – the firm is investing heavily in key practice areas and lateral hires
- High-quality work – access to complex, high-value disputes across a national platform
- Collaborative culture – a genuinely supportive partnership with a focus on shared success
- Clear career trajectory – opportunities to take on leadership roles as the practice expands
- Strong brand and market reputation – consistently recognised for excellence and client service
The Proposition
This is an opportunity to make your mark within a dynamic and forward-thinking firm—to build something meaningful, supported by an established platform with the agility to move quickly and back its partners. If you are looking for a role where your ambition, ideas, and commerciality will be recognised and rewarded, this could be the ideal next step.
