Following significant growth over recent years, they are now looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner / Technical Analyst. The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners through technical research, financial analysis, and the preparation of high-quality financial planning recommendations. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed financial analysis, including reviewing client income, assets, liabilities, and objectives
- Using financial planning software to model scenarios and projections
- Researching investment products, funds, and financial planning strategies
- Assisting Financial Planners in the creation of comprehensive financial plans
- Supporting the wider team with client servicing and administrative duties where required
- Managing and maintaining accurate client data and records
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
- Communicating with clients to gather information and clarify objectives
- Collaborating closely with advisers, providers, and colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience
- Sharing technical knowledge and best practice with the wider team
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification
- Advanced qualifications such as Chartered Financial Planner, Advanced Diploma, or CFP are advantageous
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar technical role within financial services
- Strong understanding of financial planning, investment products, and industry regulations
- Experience using financial planning software and research tools
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
