About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly respected investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join their Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and growth-focused organisation where you will play a key role in managing and developing client relationships while delivering tailored investment solutions. This is a dynamic position offering the chance to manage an existing client portfolio while also contributing to business development and the firm’s continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of advisory and discretionary portfolios, tailored to meet individual client objectives
- Build, maintain, and enhance long-term client relationships
- Construct and review portfolios, ensuring suitability, performance, and tax efficiency
- Identify opportunities to grow and develop your client base
- Contribute to business development activities, including networking, presentations, and client pitches
- Participate in investment and research committee discussions
- Support the delivery of the firm’s strategic objectives
About You
- Minimum CISI Level 6 (or equivalent) qualification
- Proven experience in investment management, ideally with an existing client book
- Strong client relationship management skills with a client-first approach
- Established professional network and ability to generate new business
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and provide creative solutions
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in approach
