Insurer Relationship Manager
London
Our client, a leading insurance software provider is looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to bolster their team.
The main purpose of the role will be to own and implement the strategy for the Insurer & MGA markets across Commercial and Personal Lines mainly within UK based clients.
The role will also include;
- Identifying sales opportunities in both existing and prospective insurer and MGA relationships
- Work closely with the Insurance Products team, Chief Customer Officer and Chief International Development Officer.
- Be responsible not just for maintaining the existing relationships but identifying and progressing opportunities for further growth and penetration
- Negotiate new deals including commercial and contractual arrangements working in conjunction with the Chief Insurance Products Officer, CCO, CDIO and CEO
- Take responsibility for working across the verticals to ensure we deliver great service to our insurer customers
- Produce regular relationship reporting and monthly Operation Executive Committee content relating to Insurer relations
- Maintain performance monitoring against financial targets and other KPIs

- Have established contacts and reputation within the market with Insurers and MGAs
- Proven track record in sales within a technology / software environment
- Customer focused with an ability to build relationships
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- A good commercial and legal understanding
- Highly organised and self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
- Logical approach to providing multiple solutions to client issues.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to functionality changes and new concepts
- Prepared to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas
