About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join a growing and client-focused wealth management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an adviser who is passionate about helping clients define their goals and aspirations, and creating tailored financial plans to help them achieve long-term financial confidence.
You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding clients through important decisions, providing clear, holistic advice supported by technical expertise, and ensuring excellent client outcomes at every stage of their journey.
This role is remote with Midlands focus, giving you the flexibility to work from home while meeting clients both virtually and face-to-face as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic financial advice to new and existing clients through both face-to-face and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships, ensuring clients feel confident about their financial future.
- Use cash flow modelling and financial planning tools to provide clear and insightful advice.
- Drive business development by exploring new opportunities and establishing links with professional introducers.
- Manage a designated portfolio of clients, identifying ongoing advice needs and developing intergenerational connections.
- Keep up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
- Uphold Consumer Duty responsibilities and maintain professional standards.
- Undertake continuous professional development to support your Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
Qualifications & Skills
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 / Chartered status desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrable experience providing holistic financial advice.
- Proven ability to build and retain strong client relationships.
- Strong technical and regulatory knowledge, with experience of Consumer Duty.
- Skilled in cash flow modelling to support advice recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage diverse client needs in a fast-paced environment.
