About the Role

If you already work in regulated financial services and have a network in the Scottish SME market, they want you. Not to shuffle paperwork. Not to “manage a pipeline” in a spreadsheet. To get out in front of business owners and board directors. To open doors, start conversations, and introduce them to one of the most respected broking brands in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Use your network to meet SME decision-makers.
  • Persuade them this is the broker they should trust.
  • Hand over warm, qualified opportunities to the technical insurance experts who close the deal.
  • Focus on relationships, persuasion, and creating opportunities — they handle the detail.

What You’ll Have

  • Experience in regulated financial services — maybe as a bank relationship manager, maybe as a professional services BDM.
  • A track record of selling to SME decision-makers (£500k–£15m turnover).
  • The confidence to operate in both boardrooms and informal settings.
  • A desire to break into commercial insurance without starting from scratch.

The Toolkit You’ll Get

  • Full spectrum of insurance solutions: risk management, employee benefits, property, liability, cyber, financial lines, fleet, and more.
  • The backing of a respected global brand.
  • Support from marketing, technical, and placement teams.

Package

£40k–£60k base + 15% bonus on all new business income + benefits. Hybrid setup — office, client visits, and home. The credibility of a global name with the agility of a small, hungry team.
