You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that believes great insurance is built on trust, partnership, and insight — not just policies.
The RoleYou’ll take the lead in managing and developing relationships across the real estate and property investment sectors, working with a diverse client base that includes investors, developers, managing agents and asset managers. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you’ll have the opportunity to grow your own portfolio, contribute to the firm’s market presence, and shape a growing area of focus within an already well-established brokerage.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and nurture relationships with real estate clients across London and the South East
- Build and grow a profitable portfolio, ensuring excellent client retention and satisfaction
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking and referrals
- Design and place tailored insurance programmes for complex real estate and property risks
- Negotiate with underwriters to secure competitive terms and comprehensive coverage
- Work closely with internal Account Handlers and technical teams to deliver exceptional service
- Play an active role in the continued development of the firm’s real estate proposition
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or Senior Account Handler within real estate or property insurance
- Strong technical understanding of property owners, liability, development and construction risks
- Confident communicator with a consultative, relationship-led approach
- Skilled at both business development and managing established accounts
- Cert CII (or working towards) preferred – full study and qualification support available
- Competitive salary up to £90,000 + performance-based bonus
