About the firm:
A leading independent law firm renowned for its expertise in high-value, complex litigation, are recruiting for an Employment Associate 2-4 PQE to join their practice.
About the Role:
You will join the firm’s leading Employment team. Where you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of high-profile and challenging matters, with a particular focus on advising clients, corporates and individuals, on the broad range of employment law with a focus on contentious work. This will include:
- High-value claims: Representing senior executives and high-net-worth individuals in claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract, and restrictive covenants.
- Complex litigation: Advising on and conducting all stages of litigation
- Injunctions and interim remedies: Advising on and obtaining urgent injunctive relief, such as freezing orders and injunctions to prevent disclosure of confidential information.
- International disputes: Advising on and resolving employment disputes with an international element.
- Business critical advice: Providing strategic advice to clients on a range of employment law issues, including restructuring, redundancy, and executive compensation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- You will be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in employment law.
- Alongside this, you will have demonstrable experience of active business development and client relationship management, as well as experience of acting for individuals in workplace disputes.
