A top-tier City law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Education team in London. This is a standout opportunity to join a thriving practice that acts for some of the UK’s most prestigious schools, academies, colleges, and higher education institutions.

About the Role:

  • You’ll play a key role advising education sector clients on a broad range of complex matters, including:
  • Employment law issues specific to the education sector
  • Data protection compliance and breach response
  • Safeguarding and Teacher Regulation Agency (TRA) matters
  • Student admissions, exclusions, special educational needs (SEN)
  • Audit compliance, regulatory reporting and policy review
  • Representing clients in OIA proceedings, academic appeals, plagiarism disputes, and other high-stakes conflicts with HE institutions

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK-qualified lawyer with 4+ PQE, ideally with a strong background in education law
  • Experience advising schools, academies, or universities
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory framework governing the education sector
  • Excellent client-handling skills and ability to lead on complex matters
