Our client, a leading international law firm renowned for its excellence in corporate and private equity transactions, seeks a bright and dynamic experienced Associate to join their thriving team. About the Role:

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the team of highly respected partners and lawyers on a broad spectrum of sophisticated corporate and private equity deals. You will gain invaluable experience across the entire deal lifecycle, from initial client interaction and deal origination to due diligence, complex deal structuring, negotiation, and successful closing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze complex corporate and transactional matters.
  • Draft and revise legal documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and financing documents.
  • Participate in all aspects of due diligence, including reviewing contracts, conducting legal and regulatory research, and identifying potential risks.
  • Assist with negotiations with clients, counterparties, and other legal professionals.
  • Manage client relationships, anticipate their needs, and provide exceptional client service.
  • Stay abreast of current legal developments in the corporate and private equity space.

Qualifications:

  • England & Wales qualified corporate lawyer
  • 4-8 years of experience in a corporate or private equity law practice (prior experience at a top-tier law firm a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise legal documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for the law.
