An elite New York law firm with a thriving and prestigious London office is looking to hire a top-tier Corporate M&A Associate (5–10 PQE) into its leading Corporate practice. This is an exceptional strategic opportunity for a UK-qualified corporate lawyer to join a high-performing team advising on some of the most complex, high-value and cross-border transactions in the market. The firm operates at the very top end of the legal industry and offers true career development alongside Cravath-level compensation.
About the Role: You will work closely with leading US and UK partners on cutting-edge transactions, including:
- Private and public M&A
- Private equity and sponsor-led transactions
- Cross-border deals and joint ventures
- Strategic investments, carve-outs, and corporate reorganisations
Clients include global private equity houses, multinational corporates, sovereign wealth funds, and high-growth companies across key sectors including technology, life sciences, financial services, and energy.
Ideal Candidate:
- UK-qualified solicitor with 5–10 years’ PQE
- Trained at and currently working within an elite Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or top-tier US firm in London
- Extensive experience in complex M&A transactions and cross-border deal management
- Excellent academic credentials and technical skills
- Confident, commercially-minded, and capable of managing sophisticated clients and transactions
