A highly rated, award-winning UK law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate lawyer to join its growing team in Bristol or Oxford.

The Opportunity

The Corporate team is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to recruit an ambitious Managing Associate, Director or Partner (title dependent on experience). Lawyers with 4+ years’ PQE are encouraged to apply, though candidates with more senior experience will also be considered.

You will work on a wide range of corporate matters including:

  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • Fundraising and private equity transactions
  • Shareholder and investment agreements
  • Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
  • Joint ventures and strategic investments

The role offers genuine scope to shape your practice, build client relationships, and progress your career within a collaborative and supportive environment. Cross-office working is encouraged, and lawyers are actively supported in business development from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistently high-quality work and exemplary client service
  • Manage matters efficiently with strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Contribute to business development, client retention and relationship building
  • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and regulatory competence
  • Take ownership of personal and professional development
  • Meet firm-wide standards on compliance, billing, WIP and time recording

About You

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of client industries
  • Ability to run and manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Proven experience in financial and matter management
  • Confident with legal tech, case management systems and MS Office
  • A proactive, approachable team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to consistently demonstrate strong professional values
