The Opportunity
A leading UK law firm is looking to expand its Independent Healthcare Team with the addition of a Corporate Solicitor. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded national corporate practice known for advising clients throughout the business life cycle – from start-ups and scale-ups to well-established corporates.

The Team
This dedicated healthcare team forms part of a wider corporate department, comprising over 50 fee earners and 20 partners – many of whom are recommended in leading legal directories.
With significant sector expertise, the team supports a diverse client base including:
- Care home operators and domiciliary care providers
- Private GP and dental practices, opticians, and pharmacies
- Allied healthcare professionals and clinics
- Medical device companies and healthcare staffing agencies
The Role
You’ll work closely with partners and senior lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services to clients in the independent healthcare space. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on M&A transactions, joint ventures, disposals, and restructures
- Drafting and negotiating corporate transaction documents
- Supporting regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management
- Collaborating with specialists in employment, real estate, and litigation
- Building and managing client relationships with a commercial and proactive mindset
- Contributing to business development activity and thought leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–4 years’ PQE)
- Strong grounding in corporate law, ideally with exposure to healthcare or other regulated sectors
- Exceptional drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
- Client-focused, commercially minded, and solutions-driven
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
