Compliance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager to join a well-established London Market insurer . This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure across both compliance advisory and monitoring , with additional involvement in sanctions-related matters .The role would suit a compliance professional with experience in the London Market or an MGA environment , who enjoys operating as a true generalist and working closely with the business.The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting the firm\’s compliance framework, providing practical and commercial guidance to stakeholders across the business.Key responsibilities include:Providing compliance advisory support to underwriting, claims and wider business functionsDelivering and maintaining the compliance monitoring plan , including thematic and desk-based reviewsSupporting regulatory obligations relevant to a London Market insurerAdvising on sanctions compliance , including controls, escalation and ongoing oversightAssisting with regulatory change, policies, procedures and trainingActing as a point of contact for compliance queries across the businessAbout YouProven compliance experience within a London Market insurer or MGAStrong knowledge of FCA regulation and the London Market regulatory environmentExperience across both advisory and monitoring workExposure to sanctions compliance is highly desirablePractical, commercially minded approach with strong stakeholder management skills
